Three researchers at Umeå University and one at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) have been granted funding through Umeå Biotech Incubator’s (UBI) call “Pre‑Incubator Funding for Critical Experiments in Life Science.”

Innovative treatment for Parkinson’s disease receives large donations
The Promobilia Foundation has donated SEK 30 million to Linköping University for an interdisciplinary research project where organic electronics will be used to treat Parkinson’s disease symptoms. Stiftelsen för Parkinsonsforskning at LiU has also donated SEK 5 million to the purpose, and LiU is adding SEK 10 million.
