European partnership against antibiotic resistance to be launched
The European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) will be launched at an event in Brussels on September 23.
The European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) brings together 53 organisations from 30 countries in EU and beyond, providing joint support to research and innovation and mobilizing to address the challenges of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) with a One Health approach.
EUP OHAMR is a 10-year programme spanning public and animal health, plant health and the environment. The programme has a budget of around EUR 250 million for research and innovation and is co-financed by the EU with up to EUR 75 million.
The Swedish Research Council leads the partnership.
