With an architecture that brings together research, innovation and collaboration, Forskaren has become a symbol of the life sciences center of the future, states the initiators. A crucial factor in the building’s design and functionality is acoustics, which play a central role in creating a healthy and productive environment, they add.

Designed by architectural firm 3XN, Forskaren encompasses 24,000 square meters filled with laboratories, offices and restaurants.

“The Researcher is designed to encourage collaboration and innovation. The open, flexible workspaces and common areas promote interaction and the exchange of ideas, making it a hub for creativity and progress. Good acoustics play a crucial role in these spaces, as they ensure clear communication and reduce distractions,” says Christian Wamberg Rasmussen, project manager at 3XN.

To meet these needs, Rockfon has provided three tailor-made acoustic systems, he states.
