NLSDays and NLSInvest 2020 are postponed, and instead merged together with the already-scheduled 2021 events in Malmö on 19-21 April 2021.

The ongoing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 have had the effect of temporarily halting the B2B congress industry, as countries and states have increasingly banned large gatherings and as organizations have put travel on hold for the unforeseeable timeframe. With so much changing quickly, the organizers of NLSDays have been evaluating the situation regarding the upcoming Nordic Life Science Days and Nordic Life Science Investment Day, currently scheduled in Malmö for 8-10 September 2020.

“The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and partners are our top priority. And with so many uncertainties with the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to postpone NLSDays and NLSInvest 2020, instead merging them together with the already-scheduled 2021 events in Malmö on 19-21 April 2021,” states NLSDays.

No digital alternative

The organizers also stated that they will not offer any digital conference alternative.

“We understand the role that NLSDays has played over the years in collaborating with the development of science, technology and innovation in the Nordic region and we are grateful to our partners for their contributions to this outcome. Therefore, we hope to continue to count on everyone’s support,” they write.
