This investor and partnering conference on December 1st gathers healthcare and technology executives and investors from the Nordic countries and North America.

The event will take place at 10 on the Park in the Time Warner Center in New York and the aim is to connect promising, innovative healthcare technology companies and Nordic life science organizations with investors, external innovation scouts and business developers in the US. The target audience includes pharma, biotech, diagnostics, medtech and digital health. There will be company pitches to investors and industry executives for selected companies, one-on-one meeting opportunities and interesting panel discussions.

Confirmed speakers include Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, AbbVie Ventures, Broadview Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Philips Ventures, MVM Life Science Partners, Altaris Capital Partners, HealthCap, Industrifonden, Citigroup, Pfizer, Roche Innovation Center New York, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, LabCorp, Teleflex, IBM Watson Health, The New York Stem Cell Foundation, DNB, NASDAQ, Davis Polk & Wardwell, The Trout Group and Dentons. The day will include a panel discussion on Nordic health data, with speakers from FIMM, Statens Seruminstitut, Uppsala Biobank and TDB, and a panel discussion on the topic Why invest in the Nordics.

The day before the event there will be a pre-conference workshop for the Nordic companies with thematic experts providing insights on topics relevant to life science companies that want to raise capital, enter partnering and licensing deals and eventually sell their solutions on the US market. For example, the day will include an investor panel discussing what it takes for Nordic companies to raise capital in the US, a workshop on raising money through IPO, a corporate VC panel, a business development panel on partnering in the US, a fundraising bootcamp and workshop on FDA, reimbursement and pricing.
