Q&A: Temperature Control & Logistics
Temperature Control & Logistics is a hands on conference taking place the 27-30 January 2020 in Düsseldorf to discuss everything logistics, supply chain and temperature controlled for the pharmaceutical industry.
Nordic Life Science asked Emily Shirrefs, Conference producer of Temperature Control & Logistics, about the upcoming event.
What have been the outcomes from your previous events?
”We welcome around 400 attendees onsite each year with a global representation across four conference days and three streams of conversation. Comments from previous events include “Practical Solutions to Real Problems”, “Very informative for me to learn what measures others are taking to maintain a secure supply chain” and “Very valuable in terms of networking and finding out the ‘level’ of IOT and monitoring developments.”
What are you most looking forward to in the program?
”We are most looking forward to having brand new accounts joining the speaker faculty for 2020 like GE Healthcare, Pluristem Therapeutics, Merz Pharma, Ultragenyx etc., and to bringing new audience members into our community with our move to Düsseldorf. We will also have more than 30 expert lead presentations, an end-to-end workshop focus day to ensure every attendee walks away with personalized strategies and solutions, and 25+ hours of networking to ensure that every attendee broadens and strengthens their network to help them overcome their most pressing operational challenges in the next 0–5 years.”
Why is this event important for the life science industry?
”Bringing the industry’s leading pharma logistics experts and solution providers together in January for the past 19 years, our TCL forum is an unmissable concrete and operationally focused forum. Discussing the industry’s most pressing on the ground and end-to-end logistics challenges and giving attendees a forum to network and strategize for solutions ensures that every attendee walks away with the solutions, strategies and partners to overcome their biggest current challenges. By facilitating these discussions TCL 2020 will play a pivotal role in transforming industry current capabilities and shaping the future of Pharma logistics.”
Anything you would like to add about the upcoming event that visitors should not miss?
”For 2020 we will also have a brand new session format, industry think tanks, which give you two different – but related – industry perspectives, before you get facilitated discussion with the delegation to go beyond Q&A and into your personal challenges!”
