The Nordic HealthTech Talents is a 7-month development program providing 10 selected startups with business and leadership training and a community that shares and inspires the innovation of HealthTech.

Behind the program stands Venture Cup Denmark and the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Venture Cup Denmark is an association of all the Danish universities (except RUC), working to promote and showcase entrepreneurship among university students, and help eliminate the gap between the academic world and the business community. Early 2018 they launched the program Nordic HealthTech Talents with the support of Novo Nordisk Foundation.

Important networks

The startups will receive a 50 000 DKK grant, funded international travels, personal leadership training, business development training, mentor program, co-creation labs, access to an extensive network, shadowing sessions, etc.

“We are very proud to have been selected among the Top 10 Nordic HealthTech Talents. Being accepted to Novo Nordisk Fondens accelerator program validates AlgoDx’s vision, which is to bring evidence-based AI solutions that improve patient outcomes to market. As we are preparing to initiate a clinical validation study of our sepsis prediction algorithm in 2020, the additional mentor and investor network that we will gain access to will be of great importance for our company,” says David Becedas, Director Clinical Research, AlgoDx AB, one of the lucky ten startups selected for the program.
