At the Monte-Carlo event the jury presented the winners, two talented entrepreneurs who will help create impact in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
The Lyfebulb-Helsinn Innovation Award in Oncology went to Mihir Shah, CEO and Founder of UE LifeSciences, who will use his winnings to help spread affordable, accessible breast cancer screening at a global level with the iBreastExam device.
The winner of the Squinto-LePera Award by Lyfebulb went to Pierluigi Paracchi, CEO and Co-Founder of Genenta Science. This innovative gene therapy approach, originated by scientists at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, enables direct transfer of treatment into the cell, with a focus on solid tumors. He will use his winnings to further Genenta’s research and therapy in Multiple Myeloma and Glioblastoma.
