NLSDays Special: Mini-Interview with Karolinska Trial Alliance
Nordic Life Science asked Staffan Dahlberg, Unit Manager, Karolinska Trial Alliance Phase I and exhibitor at NLSDays, about his experiences from the event.
Could you tell me about Karolinska Trial Alliance?
“We are a clinical research center at Karolinska University Hospital. We have around 100 employees providing clinical research services to the life science industry, from early phase to later phase. We have three sites in Stockholm, one at the Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, one at Sabbatsberg’s hospital and one in central Stockholm, focusing on administrative and regulatory support.”
What’s your experience from the event so far?
“Many participants, a broad program, much to learn and an opportunity to meet collaboration partners and clients. I am here to meet new clients, network and stay updated on the Nordic life science industry.”
What would you say is needed in order for the Nordic region to maintain/develop its strength in life sciences?
“That is a broad question but I think it is important to get the different life science issues up on the political agenda, as well as involving patients, to link collaborations. It think the National life science office in Sweden is a good initiative and I hope it will make a difference.”
